We’re more than our job titles.
Here’s why we love what we do at 3 Stories High.
Liz Boden Global Agency Head

I’m immensely proud to be leading 3 Stories High, creating an inclusive environment of curiosity, ideation and collaboration that delivers outstanding solutions while our people learn and thrive in their own career journeys.

It’s exciting to see colleagues from across the UK and North America come together, making new connections and sharing experiences. The way we work together is significantly changing and my personal focus is that of enabling balance for us all; to embrace the flexibility required to juggle wellbeing, family, personal interests, and work, respecting that the differences and experiences of others all contribute to our collective success.

We are inspired by our successful collaborations with pharmaceutical and healthcare partners to ensure communications are delivered effectively to global audiences, really making a difference to the lives of others. Med comms continues to play a vibrant and meaningful role within the global healthcare environment, and I’d encourage anyone interested to reach out – let’s be part of each other’s story.

Anna Bayley Global Commercial Director

A few years ago, I made the big brave move into healthcare communications – and I love it! I have a diverse career background, having worked in commercial pharmaceutical sales roles in the UK and USA, leading teams and launching brands; I have also worked for a couple of large network agencies in leadership positions. I’m now delighted to have found my perfect role as Global Commercial Director at  3 Stories High. It joins up all my dots – being fast-paced, varied, fun, and hugely rewarding when it comes to growing and driving the direction of our newly formed business forward.

I thrive on leading teams across disciplines, bringing the right blend of talented people together to collaborate, ideate, create and solve our clients’ diverse challenges, creatively. Mixed with that is my passion for building true collaborations with client partners, based upon shared values, mutual respect and doing what’s best for their brand, their business, and their mission to transform patients’ lives.

At 3 Stories High, we are all working to push the healthcare industry forward. We are ready to take on new challenges. So don’t wait – reach out and let us show you what we are all about!

Andrew Short Global Creative & Digital Director

Thank goodness for 3 Stories High.

I’ve been fortunate enough over the last 30 years to work as Creative Director with big and small creative agencies, consumer and health alike, in the USA and Europe, before running my own creative agency for 12 years. I’ve led global award-winning and integrated campaigns across emerging channels, TV, print, digital and social media, as well as leading re-branding and design projects for large-scale corporate brands.

After all that experience, it’s genuinely refreshing and exciting to be part of the leadership team within a global healthcare agency that pushes the norm in communications. Since the pandemic, the world has understandably changed, and in communications, our approach has needed to keep pace. The demand from audiences to engage on their terms, at a time and place that suits them has driven innovation in this new era.

My experience and expertise are the perfect match to make 3 Stories High the embodiment of a progressive agency, to deliver emotionally and strategically with our creative output.

We have a global creative team fit to partner with our clients. Strategically led and digitally savvy, generating behavioural change through innovative approaches across all channels, 3 Stories High is fundamentally changing how we reach health audiences. Reach out to me if you’d like to learn more about how we are rewriting the stories for engaging communications.

Jason Gardner Global Head of Medical

I’m so excited to be in my role at 3 Stories High. After spending half of my career in the pharmaceutical industry sector, and the other half within a large established healthcare agency network, it’s so refreshing to be part of vibrant new company that’s just starting its journey.

Here, agility and curiosity are a reality – not just buzzwords. We’re living them in how we approach projects and how we maintain our own specialist interests in science and technology. Layer that on top of our medical/scientific excellence, strategic thinking and creativity, and it’s clear to me we are building something special that can make a real impact in healthcare communications.

And we are doing it by embracing health literacy and data visualisation principles to tell stories that are clear, vivid, memorable, and that drive action. If this approach resonates with you, please get in touch about how we can collaborate.

Belinda Dean Medical Business Director

Having started my career as an entry-level medical writer, and spent the last few years in a senior client services role, I have a great appreciation of what it takes to drive the efficient delivery of high-quality work that adds meaningful value – for our client partners, the medical community, and our own team.

Everyone at 3 Stories High is inspired to embrace new ideas, and we’re committed to evolving the company into something we can all be proud of. As Medical Business Director, I hear that in all the conversations that I have with the team. I’m passionate about energising and motivating my highly experienced and talented colleagues to develop their skills and aim high.

To do this effectively, we foster a flexible, inclusive, and supportive culture that is complemented by best practice strategies for organisation, direction, capability, and performance – for me, these are the foundations for success.

Alison Whitehead Business Unit Director

Growing up I always wanted to be a GP, until some ‘average’ GCSE results put an end to that. After some time working in sales and marketing roles for pharmaceutical companies, followed by a stint in healthcare PR, I found my home in med comms. I love the variety my job brings, getting under the skin of the products and therapy areas, understanding the science, translating this into a compelling story and demonstrating how it can make a real difference to patient’s lives.

Med comms is evolving so quickly, with digital innovation taking our industry to new levels, and yet at the heart of everything is a story. I take pride in collaborating with teams and working closely with healthcare professionals and clients to build that story.

I am really excited about what the future brings as part of 3 Stories High: being part of something new and different, delivering outstanding solutions for our clients, and a workplace that fosters collaboration and a sense of fun. Keen to find out more? Please do get in touch – we could be the next chapter in your story!

Anne Whyte Business Unit Director

I’m thrilled to be here at the start of our 3 Stories High journey, heading up one of the business units with an amazingly talented team! Having worked in med comms for over 20 years, I love working with clients to truly understand their needs. It is so important to be able to truly understand our clients – to listen to their stories, so that we can partner with them to create solutions that drive and combine the scientific; the strategic; the creative; and the educational; helping to deliver programmes that change behaviour and improve understanding healthcare professionals are able make informed choices for their patients.

And this is what makes our industry so exciting. Nothing ever stays still for long. Progress and improvement are fundamental to who we are, and being part of such a vibrant young company means that everyone gets to be involved in shaping solutions and developing those programmes – each of us has a unique perspective and skill set to bring to the team and we learn from each other – always curious, always learning and my goal within the business is to encourage that at every level, creating opportunities for advancement and progression. If you are as curious and committed to learning as we are, please get in touch – we’d love to hear your story!
